At Waipa Christian School we offer extra-curricular opportunities for all our students. We believe that God has given us many talents and we have to develop and use them to praise and glorify His name. These opportunities are aimed to develop the whole child, spiritually, physically and mentally.
Sport at Waipa Christian School
At Waipa Christian School we offer a range of sport. We regularly participate with the local Eastern Zone Schools and the Waikato / Bay of Plenty Christian Schools. Our students take part in: Swimming, Chess, Touch Rugby, Basketball, Soccer, Athletics, Cross Country, Winter Sports Day(s).
Culture at WCS
Our students are extended not only on the sports field but we aim to see them develop confidence on stage too. Our students take part in speech competitions, stage productions, the Waikato / Bay of Plenty Christian Schools Music Festival and dance. Our school is very proud to have a choir that perform at local and regional festivals.
