Vision

Vision Statement

to know, love and serve Jesus Christ

KNOW (Head) - Our students will:

  • Grow in their knowledge of God’s Word (the Holy Bible)

  • Learn how to study the Bible - understanding context, meaning, and application to our lives today.

  • Critically think about doctrine, commentaries, and how the Bible is presented through various media (internet, television, prominent speakers, print media etc.)

  • Be equipped to defend their faith in secular settings (secondary school, work place, social settings etc.)

  • Understand the Biblical narrative of Creation, Fall, Redemption, Renewal

  • Understand who God is, why He sent His son, Why Jesus died

  • Learn to love the Creator..not the created by exploring His creation (Science & Social Studies).

LOVE (Heart) - Our Students will:

  • Put God first - love Jesus because He loved us first by dying on the cross for our sins, then others, before myself (others-focused)

  • Grow in their understanding and application of our school values (Resilience, Respect, Relationships, Responsibility) - our values become a way of being because we’re guided by, and transformed by God’s Word.

  • Accept and respect themselves and others as created in the image of God (Imago Dei)

  • Share the gospel with believers and non-believers - not only through testimonies and words, but by how we live our lives, love our neighbour, and serve those in our class, school, community, region, country and all around the world.

SERVE (Hands) - Our Students will:

  • Serve those around them because they have a renewed heart and mind - transformed by God’s Word and the Holy Spirit from the inside out.

  • Be humble, others focused servants in God’s Kingdom.

  • Be immersed in a culture of service in our classrooms, whole school, local community, and wherever God calls us to serve.

  • Treat those around them with the love and respect that Jesus modelled for us - believers and non-believers

  • Grow in understanding and displaying of our school values and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit
